Boundary Surveys

Boundary Surveys are surveys of property based on a legal description.

The legal description of each parcel of land is contained within the deed of the property. Assessor's numbers are not legal descriptions and are only used for tax purposes and references to recorded documents.

A boundary survey locates or replaces the property corners as described in the legal description.

These surveys will include at least the field notes of the survey. A map of the Boundary Survey can be provided, if requested, for an additional charge. If the survey doesn't match the recorded information within the tolerance established by the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration then, either a Record of Survey, or a Result of Survey is to be recorded with the County Recorder, at the client's expense.

A copy of this document can be obtained from the County Recorder, after it has been recorded. A preliminary copy will be sent to you prior to recording.
